She has performed with rock band Tizzy Bac as a singer and keyboard player. She graduated from the Central University of the French Department of Radio and Television Institute of National Chengchi University and received a master's degree.
In 2014, Chen released her first solo album as "The Huiting". The album, titled 21克 (21 Grams), has been nominated for Best Newcomer in the 26th Golden Melody Awards in 2015.
