Senegal Fast Food
Amadou & Mariam Lyrics
Aujourd’hui je me marie, j’ai confiance
Amoul solo, Gao, l’Algérie, Tunisie, Italie.
[Refrain]

what I love about this song is you can distinctly hear both artist's styles. They both compliment each other perfectly and this phenomenon should be repeated many times to come!! Please!?

For English fellows who likes this song, here is the meaning : this song is actually pretty sad. It is the story of a men in Mali whos getting married and he's dreaming to fly away to "paradise" with his wife, wich is European countries. Hes trying to get a visa to go work there. But as you can see, they all wait in line to get a visa with words like "Maybe", "Waiting" and "Hope" written on their body but they mostly all get refused. He even consult a sorcerer with his shells to know if he will be able to travel there. So the guy in the video decides to leave his wife and his country behind and to cross the border by himself even without papers. Thats why at the end you see him getting arrested by French police officers (you can see the orange armband of the french police officers at the end) when they ask him for his paper. The wife is sad and he will be deported to Mali. Sorry for my english, j'adore cette chanson :)
