In Bad Bunny's song NI BIEN NI MAL, he sings about a complicated relationship that he can't seem to quit. He begins by saying that he doesn't do well without the person he's singing to, but at the same time, he doesn't do poorly either. He goes on to say that he won't call them anymore despite how much he's moved on because he knows they will never love him the way he wants. To forget about them, he has to smoke. He then says that he's going to have a good time going out tonight with his friends and that he won't think about the person he's singing about. He assures them that he won't be getting back together with them because he's made too many mistakes in the past. The night can be a struggle sometimes, just like their love which turned into a delusion. He compares his soul to Syrian territory and says that the bottles of wine always end up in glass. He doesn't envy the person that he's singing about and thinks that they'll eventually miss him when they have no money in their purse or if they end up with someone who isn't as good with them. He tells them that they can fix their problems with him but won't. He thanks them for nothing.
