How Can You Mend a Broken Heart
Bee Gees Lyrics

I can think of younger days
When living for my life
Was everything a man could want to do
I could never see tomorrow
But I was never told about the sorrow

And, how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?

What makes the world go 'round?
How can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

La, la-la, la

I can still feel the breeze
That rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow
No one said a word about the sorrow

And, how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go 'round?
And how can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

La, la, la, la-la, la, la-da-da-da
La-da-da-da, la-da-da-da

Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

Da, da, da
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da

"How Can You Mend A Broken Heart?"

I can think of younger days when living for my life
Was everything a man could want to do.
I could never see tomorrow, but I was never told about the sorrow.

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend a this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.

I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow, noone said a word about the sorrow.

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.

Note: This is not disco. Bee Gees had a lot of depth and range.

Gamecore

Everything is disco if you speed it up to 1.5 x

@sunny_days especially I started a joke, Massachusetts, Lonely Days, Jive Talkin', and Nights on Broadway

@Çlyde Quinn nope that would have been Nights on Broadway in 1975...

Çlyde Quinn

I believe this was the last big hit before the disco era (Summer of 1971)

I had fell head over heels with a beautiful young lady (I was 23, she was 18), a single mother with a year old daughter who also stole my heart and triggered the daddy in me. It was a torrid romance, only about 3 months long, and when she tearfully told me she was going back to her husband, I was devastated. As I left her place for the last time, this song came on the radio and I had to pull over I was crying so hard. Still, I love this song, one of the BeeGee's favorites of mine. I still carry a torch for her some 40+ years later.

She chose her path, you moved on with yours.

Its not the time we are together that matters but the love we had in the time we were together
