Not the apocalypse, no, everyone is attempting to make apocalyptic music nowadays, what I mean is that the world is coming to a crashing halt, burns completely to the ground, and then dissipates to nothing. There is nothing left in the air but the sharp taste of nothingness. The apocalypse portrays the idea of the world 'ending', perhaps, but still continuing, if in a hellish version of what it was before. Although at this point, not much more could be more hellish. What this album's concept is, is if you pulled up to a bay, or a dock, or even the middle of a busy but wholly desolate street, or the edge of a forest. Gazing on towards said city, and you turned your keys to the idle position in your car, and you were watching the very world crumble, all buildings falling and houses burning and children screaming for their dying mothers, if you saw this, and turned on your radio, knowing that nothing more was to be, this is what you would hear.
