Within just a few months of their first show in 2006, the band landed a spot in one of the most prestigious independent music festivals in the world- the “CMJ Music Marathon” (New York, NY)...the first big break for the band.
With a sound somewhere between Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, and Death Cab For Cutie, by 2009 the Billy Bauer Band band made their regional television debut live on Philadelphia's NBC 10! Soon afterwards, the band was opening for top billboard artists Uncle Kracker and O.A.R.
Along with playing some of the largest festivals in the nation including: Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA), Arts Fest (State College, PA), the band has also toured and played some of the most prestigious rock venues in the world, including “The Bitter End” (New York, NY), and played for crowds over 15,000 (Coca Cola Park, PA, Bryce Jordan Center, Sovereign Bank Arena).
Billy Bauer Band's new single "Maybe Tomorrow" (2010) can already be heard in all 19 Six Flags theme parks in Mexico, Canada and the U.S, and their latest single "So Far Down" (2011) can be heard on ESPN Nascar.
In support of their newest album "Maybe Tomorrow" (May 2011), the band has a busy tour schedule with stops throughout the eastern third of the nation, including as an opener for O.A.R. in Milwaukee, WI (Feb. 10, 2012).
