The album is very different from his previous works in that it is made up by 49 very short tracks, primarily consisting of heavy metal guitar riffs and noodling on top of samples and drum machine loops.
The album features no original vocal performances, but some voice samples are scattered through the album. The shorter track lengths may represent music which could later be developed ("Funnel Weaver"). The album has also been described as a collection of intro tracks reminiscent of the Slaughter Zone section of Bucketheadland.
Track #2, Kurtz Temple, and track #18, Sleeper Agents, have the same exact drumbeat.
Track #3, Covert, and track #4, Death Card, have almost the same exact drumbeat. The only difference being that Death Card has a flanger effect over the drumbeat.
Track #16, The Worm Turns, and track #30, Aluminum Clouds, have almost the same exact drumbeat. The only difference being that Aluminum Clouds has a flanger effect over the drumbeat.
Track #32, Killing Mask, and track #37, Stolen Identities, have almost the same exact drumbeat. The only difference being that Stolen Identities had a heavy delay effect over the drumbeat.
Track #44, Jessy, includes a sample from the 2000 movie Chopper.
Some song titles refer to movies such as The Hills Have Eyes and The Other Side of Midnight.
Recorded in the Coop.
Mastered at TDRS Music by Travis Dickerson.
Assistant: the Frozen Brain of Shingles.
Thanks: Norm, Frankenseuss, Travis, Shingles' frozen head, the bust of Mike Brady, Big D.
Samples: LA Riot Drums, Brain, Bill Laswell, Big Beat, Chopper.
Artwork: Bryan Theiss.
