Prologue
Catch 22 Lyrics

A hero was born of a movement for the not so distant past,
He and others like him felt the world was changing fast,
So they embarked on a journey with their very best intentions,
And thought that what began with them would never find an end.

Ready set go it's easy you know,
It's easy to get wrapped up in the madness,
Ready or not it's all that they go,
and so it goes

Suspend your disbelief in revolution,
Their solutions were a way for them to change the world they lived in
The rich stay rich, the poor got even poorer
And the world engulfed in war only added to the horror

Unlike the more moderated movements that proceeded theirs,
They were absolutely unconcerned with splitting heads,
They fought for the rights and belief that they might even change the human race,
But global revolution never seemed to show its face

Ready set go it's easy you know,
It's easy to get wrapped up in the madness,
Ready or not it's all that they go,
and so it goes

Suspend your disbelief in revolution,
Their solutions were a way for them to change the world they lived in
The rich stay rich, the poor got even poorer
And the world engulfed in war only added to the horror

Rob Smith

a very underrated album that stands on its own, despite Keasbey Nights. I find myself coming back to this album for the really cool concept and catchy ass songs like this

because yes

5 years later my boy

Ghosty64

derek lbs Are they touring again yet? I haven't heard anything about Catch 22 in years.

Rob Smith Catch22 has been killing it like this for almost 20 years. Always awesome

Joseph Schultz

Don't get me wrong, I love Streetlight Manifesto a lot and they're among my top picks when it comes to ska, but whenever people hate on Catch 22 after Tomas left, I just feel like they're denying themselves some great music.

This song is a fantastic example. It's awesome.

Monroe Luvinski

So true. I think both Tomas and Catch 22 went on to do bigger and better things after they split.

joshua charbonneau

by far the best album they have done

Karbonated Febreze

This entire album is amazing from start to finish and it only gets better the more you listen to it. I've listened to it at least 15 times through already

Lettermark
