Although a pop-rock band, they have influences from many genres, the more potent one being war metal.
The original band line-up, nicknamed the MK1 lineup by fans, consisted of: Christian Weston Chandler - lyrics and lead vocalsSonic the Hedgehog - lead guitarSonichu - rhythm guitarShadow the Hedgehog - drums and percussionBlake Sonichu - synthesizer
It is important to remark than Christian Chandler is the only real member of the band, the other members are fictional characters created by himself or third-parties.
The band released their self titled debut in 2006 to negative critical reception, but several of the tracks became viral sensations on video website Youtube, and the album went on to spend a record setting thirteen weeks at the number one spot on the Molvanîa Pop Charts.
However, the band's success was brought down by internal strife, causing them to go on hiatus soon after their overseas tour of Molvanîa to promote the album. During the hiatus, Sonic the Hedgehog left the band to pursue a solo career in country music, which Shadow the Hedgehog was fired by Christian for excessive tobacco use. He later overdosed on cocaine, which lead to his death.
Rumors that the band has disbanded for good following Shadow's death were dispelled in early Spring 2009, when Christian released music videos for two new singles on Youtube, Holding Out for a Hero and It's All Coming Back to Me. Notable were the addition of two new members to the group, Punchy Sonichu on drums and percussion, and Sit 'n Spin virtuoso Wild Sonichu replacing Sonic the Hedgehog on lead guitar, referred to by fans as the MK2 lineup. Soon after, the band's second album COMEBACK! was released, and the band embarked on another tour of Molvanîa in support of the album. The album was released to slightly less negative critical reception, but failed to chart in many countries, including Molvanîa. The critical and commercial failure of the album began to take it's toll on the band, with the band frequently delving into unpopular jazz fusion versions of the hits, and several instances of backstage turmoil beginning to surface. Many of these incidents were attributed to the failure of the MK2 lineup to match the musicianship of the original in the eyes of the fans. In addition, fans of Wild's mastery of the Sit 'n Spin felt that being forced to play lead guitar affected the quality of his contributions to the songs. The band's second tour of Molvanîa ended in disgrace when a fight broke out on stage between Sonichu and Punchy after Sonichu forgot a vital key change. In response to the band's problems, they were dropped from their label.
After taking another hiatus, on February 24th, 2010, Christian announced the band's reunion and leaked the lyrics to a new single, entitled 'Revive Zordon.' Initial fan reaction to the leak was mixed, with a cover of the song receiving mild popularity on Youtube from American viewers, but the song's lyrics were wildly unpopular in Molvanîa, where the various Power Rangers teams are beloved across the country.
