They have been described as a lush, hypnotic blend of sounds reminiscent of Cocteau Twins, The Sundays and even Garbage.
Their self-titled 1995 début has been followed by two more studio albums. Each has introduced fresh new sounds and styling, something that has successfully kept them from being pigeon-holed in one genre.
Victoria Lloyd provides consistently powerful, but gentle and ethereal vocals, and haunting and enigmatic lyrics, Ben Fargen's clean and bright guitars, and Chris Ross's lush keyboards all give the band their own distinct and unique style. They are currently signed to Metropolis Records, and released their long-awaited fourth album, Lustre, in September of 2009.
The band seems to be on hiatus since July 2010.

Claire Voyant Lyrics
Aqua Sunlight moves through darkened halls The same voice is call…
Deep Higher than the highest mountain Deeper than the eye can see…
Fear If you become the odds Educated in words around the starless…
Heaven Knows Hailstones and daggers Give heat without your light Ghost of…
Her No one knows her I have seen you hold her Trembling arms…
Land and Sea The night I woke in laughter The pain came surely after Trie…
Morning Comes Lie in darkness of her daily gaze Write the words I…
Someday Taking in the rhythm of the world Let your mind tell…
Wanderlust Saw you again It is like some kind of sin is…
