Blind Dumb Deaf
Cocteau Twins Lyrics

[Repeat: x 2]
Blind dumb deafen offends
I was never a part of it

At the bosom
Or the breast
Or the forehead
Or the fist

[Repeat: x 2]
Blind dumb deafen offends
I was never a part of it

My mouthing at you
My tongue the stake
I should welt should I hold you
I should gash should I kiss you

[Repeat: x 4]
Blind dumb deafen offends
I was never a part of it

I love Garlands

Wintceas Villaça de Godois Jr

seriously, they managed to make goth pop work and i am forever impressed and in awe.

If you can find it straight after hearing this, find "Hole In The Earth" by Deftones and you will hear how much of an influence this particular track had on it. The guitar hook is almost a carbon copy of Blind Dumb Deaf. I doubt if Chino & Co would admit it, but that guitar layered hook can be heard through the Deftones's track, perhaps even more tracks by them.
Amazing how a modest Scottish trio can have such an effect on one of the biggest rock bands in the United States.

lau's kanaal

@Silveral_ Agree, really good cover

Yes, good shout. I thought they did a great job covering Wax and Wane on their b-sides & rarities album.

This song invokes every emotion.

Sonya Blade's Booty

"Evoke", not invoke.

This is one of the most hypnotic songs ever. I love how noisy and washed out the guitars sound. Wish I could find more albums that sound like this and Dead Can Dance's first album.

Phillip Armijo

Elizabeth Fraser was 17 when this was recorded.
