Since the bands inception in 2002, the Anglos have become collectively known for their signature sound that effortlessly blends a number of diverse musical elements. Citing an eclectic mix of influences ranging from Cypress Hill and Outkast, to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fugazi, Mos Def and James Brown, to Beethoven, Miles Davis, and Bob Marley the Anglos infuse the raw edges of rock and the rhythmic timing of rap with the heavy backbeats synonymous with funk and reggae.
Fronted by vocalist John O' Leary and MC Bryan Bozeman, the Anglos maintain a delicate balance between melodic vocals and sharp rhymes. Brandon Parker provides assaulting riffs on guitar, while Danny Helm's undeniably intricate bass lines round out the bands bottom end.
