I'm So Glad
Cream Lyrics

[Chorus:]
I'm so glad
I'm so glad
I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

Don't know what to do
Don't know what to do
Don't know what to do

Tired of weeping
Tired of moaning
Tired of groaning for you

[Chorus]

Tired of weeping
Tired of moaning
Tired of groaning for you

[Chorus: x8]

Yah, the sixties was some of the best music, Cream, Buffalo
Springfield, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Dylan; that was before he and other
people sold out, of course.  Still like
to listen to them.  Sometimes I come home
at night, wander around the house and throw myself into a chair singing to my
husband, “I’m so tired, I’m so tired, I’m tired, I’m tired, I’m tired… I’m so
tired, I’m so tired, I’m tired, I’m tired, I’m tired…”  Well, this is the weekend of 100 degree temperatures
all across the United States.  Tonight I
came home singing, “I’m so hot, I’m so hot, I’m hot, I’m hot, I’m hot…”

"I'm So Glad"

I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do
I'm tired of weeping, I'm tired of moaning, I'm tired of crying for you
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm tired of weeping, I'm tired of moaning, I'm tired of groaning for you
I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
[Chorus repeated 5 times]

I just love Jack Bruce's vocals - so underated as a singer.

Matthew Bernard

I agree. I really like that baritone rock vocal style characteristic of Bruce, Greg Lake and John Wetton. All terrific bass players, by the way.

Rhonda Leah O'Brien

Yes, I have to agree with you. His voice is uniquely perfect for rock.

Funny how when I was a kid I thot that was Eric Clapton singing. I thot "wow, he sure was a good singer when he was young."

Jack was a friend and lived at my home for while playing in a band I was putting together, whenever he saw me stressed out or sad he would start singing I'm so glad to me, he always brought a smile to my face, he was a dear friend, an amazing talented musician , song writer and vocalist. He will be missed but as I write this I am listening to I 'm so glad remembering days of old when music ruled supreme and anything and everything was possible. R.I.P Jack thanks for the music and amazing memories.

Robert, what a treasure to find your post. Ive just recently fallen in love with Jack, again! I've been watching his CREAM videos on YouTube. I'm so blown away by his bass playing, WOW! And that voice, smooth and sweet as cream.
It's an honor to know he was your friend, and sharing how he cheered you up....it makes my heart smile! ❤️

Thank you for that memory. You were blessed to have had those times with not only a legend but a friend.

Fresh Cream is one of the greatest albums ever made. I still remember the first time I heard it, fall 1967. I was going through some changes, pending being drafted. I eventually went into the Army, but with a clearer attitude that helped me get through it. This album, and this song, were near the top of what kept me going. Muddy Waters, the Beatles, so many great bands in those days, Hendrix, Janis, Creedence, even the Stones. Hendrix's Electric Ladyland still brings it all back, as does Fresh Cream. We were lucky.
