Released in 1976 in NY on Paco Records and Tapes. Re released in 2006 on CD. This LP was the antithesis of Afreaka. This was what we did in the clubs along with some cuts from Afreaka. Afreaka was the material we used primarilly at concerts and universities. We regarded our genre as Afro-rock. The name Afro-rock was coined by Paddy Corea (me) and Eddie Grant (The Equals) during a Melody Maker interview. Some writers thought we sounded like a blend of Sly and the Family Stone mixed with Santana, others thought we were some afro funky jazz soul band. You take your pick. Enjoy. paddy corea (Mr Demon Fuzz)
