Dido wrote this song when she met her now ex boyfriend Bob Page and fell in love with him. This track can be found on Dido's promo album, "The Highbury Fields EP" from 1998. "Here With Me" was originally released as first track on debut album No Angel in 1999 in US.
This song was used as the theme music for the American television drama Roswell (1999–2002). After re-releasing of No Angel in 2001, "Here With Me" was chosen to be the first single. It peaked at number four in the UK Singles Chart becoming her 2nd top five single in a row, following "Stan", a collaboration with Eminem.
