At the very beginning, Farmer Sea self-released two EPs, "Where People Get Lost And Stars Collide" in 2005 and "Helsinki Under The Great Snow" a 3 inch CD in 2007, both well acclaimed by the italian press and also by foreign magazines such as NME (best breaking bands).
These general consents were renewed in 2009 with the band’s first full length album “Low Fidelity in Relationships” produced by Maurizio Borgna (Settlefish, Fine before You Came, Crash Of Rhinos) and released by I Dischi De L’Amico Immaginario. The record recalls the mood of bands like dEUS, Pavement and Grandaddy, with jangly guitar and melancholic melodies.
The first single “Teenage Love” came along with a stop motion video directed by Tommaso Cerasuolo (Perturbazione): the video was featured on MTV Brand:New Channel and Deejay TV.
Throughout all these years the band kept on touring all over Italy, playing in several festivals such as Heineken Jammin Festival, Six Days Sonic Madness, Nuvolari, MiAmi and Musical Box and playing as opening act for Girls In Hawaii, Lightspeed Champion, You Say Party, Jennifer Gentle and many others.
In January 2012, “A Safe Place” is released in CD format by Dead End Street Records and digitally by New Model Label. The album, entirely produced by the band, once again acclaimed both in Italy and in other countries like UK, Japan, Spain and Brazil. There are three videos from the album: “To The Sun”, “Small Revolutions” and “The Fear”, a 13mins short directed by Alessandro Riva and inspired by the mood of the record. In December 2012 Farmer Sea version of “Down Colorful Hill” is featured on a tribute album to Red House Painters released by the Italian webzine OndaRock.
In october 2015 comes the new album "Nobody Listens, Nobody Cares". Produced by Marco J.Bianchi (Drink To Me, Cosmo) and recorded in Turin, shows the most psychedelic side of the band, (the 6 minutes single "Comes A Day", the loops and samples of "Happiness - Ocean/Space#2"), along with more shoegaze and noisy ("Killers", "Useless") or soulful numbers ("Goodbyes - Marvin Gaye Overdrive Blues").
