Talkin' to My Heart
Fleetwood Mac Lyrics

Written by billy burnette, deborah allen, and rafe vanhoy.
My heart is hanging on every word you say
Right now all logic's stripped away
It doesn't analyze your sincerity
It only listens and believes
Don't whisper
I love you
Unless you know it's true

Be careful what you're saying
You're talkin' to my heart
Oh be careful what you're saying
You're talkin' to my heart

Sometimes you want someone so bad you fantasize
Sometimes the heat of passion lies
It's only human to give in to what you feel
That doesn't always mean it's real
Don't mislead
Don't misread
The magic of the night

Be careful what you're saying
You're talkin' to my heart
Oh be careful what you're saying
You're talkin' to my heart

Think about it
Sometimes it's wise to wait
Think about it
Once spoken it's too late
Don't whisper
I love you
Unless you know it's true

Be careful what you're saying
You're talkin' to my heart
Oh be careful what you're saying
You're talkin' to my heart

Critics pan this album so much - so stuck on the LindStevie sound. This was a great album.

Dan hansson

Such a kickass and underrated album, Just love it. this lineup should have done more

Ricky Parker

This album was BETTER than what the critics had to say about it. Should have been marketed better. Talkin to my heart and Hollywood some other kind of town could have been top 40 hits.

This is one of my 5 favorite Fleetwood Mac albums, featuring Billy Burnette, Bekka Bramlett (daughter of Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett), Dave Mason (who recorded with Delaney and Bonnie around 1970 , and 25 years later with their Bekka), and the regulars (Christine, John, and Mick). A bit of a country sound on some of the songs Bekka sings, an interesting change of pace for Fleetwood Mac. Plus Billy's rock-a-billy guitar and vocal style, and Dave has always excelled with his guitar solos and vocals throughout his career. The regulars are also stellar, as always.

Allan Shiflett - 👎🏿😂🤮

Chris Hansen

I had forgotten that Mason was one of the Delaney & Bonnie Friends. Thank you Allan.

Jose Gomez

Introducing; Bekka Bramlett!

Stephen Hopkins

Check out the Zoo’s “Shakin’ The Cage” album. Bekka was a foregone conclusion for Fleetwood Mac after Stevie left.

Joetime90

I really enjoy this song quite a bit.
