Describing the style of the new album, lead singer, Florence Welch, said, "Ceremonials"was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it, which is frightening, because I’m not hiding behind anything, but it felt like something I had to do.”
The first release from the new album is "What Kind of Man".
Upon release, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful was met with generally positive reviews from music critics, who commended the album for its cohesion, production and Welch's vocal delivery. As a critical success, it appeared on several year-end critics' lists in late 2015. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart with 68,788 copies sold in its first week, becoming the band's third consecutive number-one album, while topping the charts in several other markets. Four singles have been released from the album—"What Kind of Man", "Ship to Wreck", "Queen of Peace" and "Deliliah". How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful has earned the band five Grammy Award nominations, in addition to being shortlisted for the 2015 Mercury Prize.

Ship to Wreck
Florence + the Machine Lyrics
Don't touch the sleeping pills, they mess with my head
Dredging the Great White Sharks, swimming in the bed
And here comes a Killer Whale, to sing me to sleep
Thrashing the covers off, it has me by it's teeth
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I said?
I can't help but pull the earth around me, to make my bed
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I did?
Did I drink too much?
Am I losing touch?
Did I build this ship to wreck?
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck
Did I build this ship to wreck?
What's with the long face, do you want more?
Thousands of red-eyed mice, scratching at the door
Don't let the curtain catch you, cause you've been here before
The chair is an island darling, you can't touch the floor
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I said?
I can't help but pull the earth around me, to make my bed
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I did?
Did I drink too much?
Am I losing touch?
Did I build this ship to wreck?
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck
Did I build this ship to wreck?
And good God, under starry skies we are lost
And into the breach we got tossed
And the water's coming in fast
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I said?
I can't help but pull the earth around me, to make my bed
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I did?
Did I drink too much?
Am I losing touch?
Did I build this ship to wreck?
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck
Did I build this ship to wreck?
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck
Did I build this ship to wreck?

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE LYRICS
"Ship To Wreck"
Don't touch the sleeping pills, they mess with my head,
Dredging the Great White Sharks, swimming in the bed,
And here comes a Killer Whale, to sing me to sleep,
Thrashing the covers off, it has me by its teeth.
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I said?
I can't help but pull the earth around me, to make my bed
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I did?
Did I drink too much?
Am I losing touch?
Did I build this ship to wreck?
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck,
Did I build this ship to wreck?
What's with the long face? Do you want more?
Thousands of red-eyed mice, scratching at the door,
Don't let the curtain catch you, cause you've been here before,
The chair is an island darling, you can't touch the floor,
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I said?
I can't help but pull the earth around me, to make my bed
And oh my love remind me, what was it that I did?
Did I drink too much?
Am I losing touch?
Did I build this ship to wreck?
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck,
Did I build this ship to wreck?
Ooh-ooh ohh, ooh-ooh ohh, ooh-ooh ohh
Ooh-ooh ohh, ooh-ooh ohh, ooh-ooh ohh
Good God, under starless skies we are lost,
And into the breach we got tossed,
And the water's coming in fast!
To wreck, to wreck, to wreck,
Did I build this ship to wreck?

This is indeed her house she said it in the coachella interview right before the video premiere. She said that the reason why she used her house in this videoclip was because this album is really personal and she thought the best platform to show it would be the house where she wrote most of her songs for this album.. the house that saw her fight with all of her demons during the creation of this record. the house that saw her wrecked & destroyed therefore the title of the song and the wanted to portrait that in this video. The purpose of this was to let her fans in and get to know her for who she really is and we could get to see the place where all the magic & inspiration happened for "how big, how blue, how beautiful" and in case you wonder why the name of the title she also mentioned that it's a reference for the sky. This album is about the elements. being connected with nature.
