He was brilliant on this record. So good. I'm pretty Ilsure Izzy Stradlin said that one of the reasons he quit the band was because the band's sound was never the same after Stevie Adler was sacked. I reckon Izzy was spot on.

Problem was that those glam/hair metal bands basically brought ruin upon themselves by allowing the industry to run that scene into the ground by making the "glam image" become more important than the music itself. Hence, the rise of "alternative rock" in the early 90's and lots of haircuts...
