In 1994 he formed the group Tidawt ("Group" or "Together") in Agadez, Niger. These ten musicians and dancers set out to let the world know the full range of Tuareg culture, including their traditional guitar, tindé of ishumar.
Tidawt has performed in festivals around the world: Mali, France, Algeria, and the United States, supported through the Nomad Foundation.
Hasso often leads parties in Agadez and records his songs with other musicians as Alhassane Foungounou, Bambino, or his wife Ali. He has recorded several albums and his songs remain extremely popular among the young Tuareg.
