This song means so much to me. I love giving love and encouragement to other people yet somewhere along the way I forgot to take care of myself. This past summer I just came out of a shit show. I found myself somewhere where I found it was OK to be the very person I was scared of. I don't know how I ended up getting to that point. I lead a lifestyle that was making me numb and dead. I didn't even care anymore. So then something unimaginable happened to me late summer from my stupid numb decisions. I ended up being a victim of something terrible. At first I didn't even realize it. I thought it was my fault. The internal torture in my head was the worst in my life. I felt I could not tell anyone at the time, and I had no idea when this really awful feeling was going to end...
Later I accidentally stumbled onto love, but I thought haha wow this can't be real. This must not be for me, I can't possibly accept it after what I've been through. I was a desensitized mess. But as damaged as I seemed, I still clung to it. Then I finally accepted it one day.. I chose to be accept LOVE.... you can too!

Accidently bought this disc in 2004 because of a good looking cover along with Bomfunk MC's album Reverse Psychology.
Not only HIM showed me what's true music was in comparison, but it became my most-listened album of all times, I still remember all this songs like it was yesterday. Greatest love metal, greatest seductive male voice and greatest memories of the most romantic period in life of every human being.
Even they are not recording or performing anymore, I want to sincerely thank VIlle and all the band for everything that meant so much for me and for thousands of other teenagers of 2000-s.

What would be better right now than a visit from Ville Valo to Bam in Oceanside California for a nostalgic stroll through SD AND Hollywood? If your a fan you know Bam discovered HIM on a skate trip and fell in love.
