Why isn't Howard Shore recognized for this masterpiece as much as he should be? The music really made the movies what they are.

Oscars noted but I understand what the OP really means. You want to grab people on the street and make them understand that this music will be listened to for centuries to come and we were here to to recognize. People 100 years from now will listen, and watch, and wonder what we were all like. How cool it must have been...

I bet there's all kinds of corporate interest in sequencing this into footwear or phones. I for one am glad it's just ours and the Shire's for now.

This is so f*cking true!

Adama he is underrated. For we treat him like a human when he treated like a god.

Adama

He is not underrated at all lmao! Howard Shore will be remembered for a very long time, well past our lifetimes.

One can clearly imagine Tolkien's magical world through this short but excellent and emotional piece of art.

Absolutely love everything about these movies. Soundtrack is the best I have ever heard.

I would rate it on the same level as ennio morricone's western soundtracks and john williams in star wars
