Azalea signed a recording contract with American rapper T.I.'s label Grand Hustle shortly afterward and released her debut mixtape, Ignorant Art (2011).
Azalea's debut studio album, The New Classic (2014), peaked among the top five on several charts worldwide, but received mixed reviews from within the industry. The album eventually topped the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, making Azalea the first non-American female rapper to reach the top of the chart. The New Classic was preceded by Azalea's debut single "Work" and chart-topping single "Fancy", which hit the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Azalea was featured on Ariana Grande's single "Problem," which peaked at number two behind "Fancy." With these hits, Azalea joined the ranks of The Beatles as the only act to rank at number one and two simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 entries. In addition, she achieved three top ten hits simultaneously on the Hot 100 with the aforementioned songs and the album's fifth single, "Black Widow," which debuted later that year.
After her debut album, Azalea released a slew of singles to build anticipation for her intended second album, Digital Distortion. However, a series of conflicts with her label, as well as personal conflicts, resulted in the project being cancelled. Consequently, Azalea switched labels, releasing the EP Survive the Summer (2018) under Island Records. Further disagreements led to Azalea becoming an independent artist and creating her own label, Bad Dreams, through a distribution deal with Empire. Her second album, In My Defense, was released in 2019, followed by another EP, Wicked Lips, that same year.
Since her debut, Azalea has sold 48 million records worldwide, with 22 million singles in the United States alone. Azalea's accolades include two American Music Awards, three Billboard Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, a People's Choice Award, four Teen Choice Awards and four Grammy Award nominations. Azalea's official YouTube channel has accumulated 3.2 billion views, with 14 music videos receiving over 100 million views on Vevo.

Iggy Azalea Lyrics
Iggz
Look, turn me up, break the knob right
I get dressed like it's prom night
I feed them lemons in the limelight
They say I'm full, lost my appetite?
(Hell nah) Keep on pushing like a dealer (say what?)
(Hell nah) Keep on shooting, Reggie Miller (say what?)
(Hell nah) Go and give 'em all the finger
You gotta set the score right, call it Hans Zimmer
My time wherever I go
I took a chance like I'm from Chicago
Hundred-plus in that Murcielago
'Bout to go ape, hey, yurn it to the cango
Baby, I got me
Baby, I got me
And that's all I need
Yeah, that's all I need
Baby, I got me
Only friend, by me
Playing on my team
Is someone like
Me, baby, no way
Watch me while I do my thing
Oh, baby, no way
Are you fucking with the team?
Outchea, pronto
Hit 'em with the dose, that's a combo
Running through ya block, no fumble
'Bout to kill 'em all, where the shovel?
See, I gotta go for mine
Ben-ja-jammin', that money on my mind
Jamaican club, I'm stayin' on the grind
Dutty wine, don't step on this land mine
Ven aqui, andele
You tryna take flight, do what I say
Hundred-plus volts on the highway
Watch a new Kardash', call me Kylie
Baby, I got me
Baby, I got me
And that's all I need
Yeah, that's all I need
Baby, I got me
Only friend, by me
Playing on my team
Is someone like
Me, baby, no way
Watch me while I do my thing
Oh, baby, no way
Are you fucking with the team?
Are you workin' with some cash here, cash here?
Hundred-thousand on the dash yeah, dash yeah
All the ladies shake it fast yeah, fast yeah
Now vogue on that ass, yep, yeah we in here
Are you workin' with some cash here, cash here?
Hundred-thousand on the dash yeah, dash yeah
All the ladies shake it fast yeah, fast yeah
Now vogue on that ass, yep, yeah we in here
Baby, I got me
Baby, I got me
And that's all I need
Yeah, that's all I need
Baby, I got me
Only friend, by me
Playing on my team
Is someone like
Me, baby, no way
Watch me while I do my thing
Oh, baby, no way
Are you fucking with the team?
(Team, team)
(Team, team)
Are you fuckin' with the team?
(Are you fuckin' with the team?)
(Are you fuckin' with the team?)

Iggy is actually an amazing artist and people don't give her the credit she deserves.. She deserves respect. She can flow good and actually has a decent singing voice. She has so much talent, especially if you compare her to the female rappers out now. I wish she wasn't retiring.

@Alicia Park apparently she’s going to release new music this year, cuz she’s not quitting music
Alicia Park
@Santiago Gomez ?

@WAKU•WAKU no, she's coming

She's retiring? Well if she's retiring, good for her. The entertainment industry is toxic and dangerous anyway.
