Through action, a Man becomes a Hero
Through death, a Hero becomes a Legend
Through time, a Legend becomes a Myth
and by learning from the myth a man takes action

General Maul

If anyone is still wondering where this quote comes from, it's apparently from Eiichiro Oda - the author of One Piece.

And through it all a boy finally becomes John Shephard...

That will be all!!!

"A hero does not come from noble birth, or is granted powers from the divine. A hero can be a warrior with a mighty sword, with a mighty name, who is capable of killing dozens of men, or a frail scholar whose experiences of war are only found in the books he's read. But one thing a hero must have is bravery, young Joshua. For how can you save the weaker among us, if you are not able to put yourself in a position to help them? It does not matter whether your talents prompt you to pick up a sword or to pick up a pen. What matters is if you're brave enough to protect them..."

good one but i like this one better

"A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

The pen has saved more mortals from the destruction of evil and hell's wrath than the sword Kevin Gonzalez. It is with great courage men of war took to the pen...lest history repeats itself. Alas...the thirst for blood, money and the sword has yielded many swords under the pretense of "saving the greater good" therefore history resurfaced wearing different names. The pen is indeed mightier than the sword and when yielded by the stirring of love...there is no greater force than the written word. Great men, like scribes of ancient scripture, hid the word from battle thirsty fools and today lives are still being saved by its contents.
