Jonathan James spent his early years in Germany, Malaysia, China and Switzerland. He now lives just outside Leeds in the UK.

Jonathan James was a member of Velocity (vocalist/guitarist) between 2006 and 2007. Velocity took part in Band-it (www.Band-it.com) a competition for young bands in Switzerland in 2006 and 2007.

In late 2007 Jonathan James joined The New Ventures - a Leeds band but only played two gigs at Joseph's Well (http://www.josephswell.co.uk/) and Cardigan Arms before leaving to pursue a solo career.

May 2008 Jodell performs a song written by Jonathan James "She's Messed Up" at Band-it in Bubikon, Switzerland.

August 2008 Jonathan James records "She's Messed Up" in Zurich.
