It was released September 24, 2013 by Columbia Records. The album was preceded by the singles "Killin' It", "Come & Get It", "Alive", "Live for the Night" and "Enjoy the Ride", with the first three songs being previously included on their EPs Play Hard and Play Harder (both from 2012).
All tracks were written by Kristopher Trindl, Yasmine and Jahan Yousaf. Except for "Human", which was also composed by Toby Gad. Additional production by The Cataracs and Pegboard Nerds was present. This is the group's only studio album to feature Trindl, who left in 2014 amidst public controversy and legal disputes with the remaining members.
