Sunny Sundae Smile
My Bloody Valentine Lyrics
Close your eyes and let's pretend
We're little children once again
Sticky fingers, dirty minds
When I touch you, girl I come alive
Let's fall in love
Its exciting
I'm gonna make your mouth
A sunny sundae smile
Tie a ribbon in your hair
Try not to notice how I stare
There's desperation in my voice
Have I hurt you, I have no choice
Let's fall in love
Its exciting
I'm gonna make your mouth
A sunny sundae smile
It looks lovely
Illustrates me
Seems to wrap your eyes
A sunny sundae smile

My first ever gig was The Primitives, My Bloody Valentine & Gaye Bykers On Acid at the London Astoria in 1986, a mighty baptism! MBV stood out that night playing the early Conway material. This EP is magic!

I always had a soft spot for the pre-"Isn't Anything" MBV. I love this record, and "Ecstasy and Wine" is amazing too. What a band! Thanks for posting this! I used to work at a used record store that traded in bootlegs, and this was one of my most prized.
