Officially released on 12 May, 2009 on Dan Harvell's (Null Factor's frontman) own label, Checksum Recordings, several versions of "(in)finite" surfaced, even before the 12 May release date. Official versions of "(in)finite" include:
- the CD version, which includes 10 tracks and a run-time of over 46 minutes.
- a $2.00US .ZIP file that was released roughly 2 weeks before the official 12 May release date. The .ZIP file contained uncompressed .WAV files as well as full-sized JPEGs of the album art. This version was available until 9 May, 2009.
- 4 MP3 versions (128kbps, 192kbps, 256kbps, 320kbps) wrapped in ZIP files. The 128kbps and 192kbps versions contain the 10 main tracks found on the CD version. The 256kbps and 320kbps versions contain 3 bonus remixes (tracks 11-13). The 4 MP3 versions are priced differently, based on the quality of the MP3 files. The MP3 versions were released on 12 May, 2009 - the same date as the main CD release.
