So Sad About Us / Brr
Pete Townshend Lyrics

La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

So sad about us
So sad about us
Sad that the news is out now
Sad, suppose we can't turn back now
Sad about us

So bad about us
So bad about us
Bad, never meant to break up
Bad, suppose we'll never make up
Bad about us

Apologies mean nothing
When the damage is done
But I can't switch off my loving
Like you can't switch off the sun

La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

La la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la la la

So sad about us
So sad about us
Sad, never meant to break up
Sad, suppose we'll never make up
Sad about us

Bought this album when it first came out back in God knows...83??? Loved it from day 1. I love Brr....brrrr???... because the it exudes the joy of guitar jamming at the end. I only wish I had this kind of creative talent and technical skill to carry it off. Pete you are my hero!!! Forever !!!!

Pete is my muse and friend since I first heard Tommy. Long live Rock!

Green Sombrero

i had the cassette and listened to it often in the early 1990s. I am going to have another go at it - PT is amazing as a solo artist.

Love this.

I bought a copy of SCOOP in 1984, but it was defective and I returned it. Unfortunately, the shop didn't have another at the time and I never got another. I don't know why. I must have gotten distracted by something else. It's a great album.

Pete must have at least a half a bottle of brandy in him when he did this. I have all the Scoop records. Brilliant in spite of (perhaps because) of the Brandy. Check out “Lonely Words” for another masterpiece.

Awesome.

These must be demos from the 60s but released in the 80s
