Along with fellow California punk bands Green Day and Rancid, The Offspring have been credited with reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States during the mid-1990s. To date, The Offspring has released eight studio albums, one compilation, four EPs and three DVDs. They have sold over 34 million albums worldwide, making them one of the best-selling punk rock acts of all time. Each album since the release of their 1994 album Smash has sold over a million units.
Since the release of Smash, which is the best-selling independent label album of all time, The Offspring has achieved commercial success over five albums, with singles such as "Come Out and Play", and "Self Esteem". The band’s next three albums, Ixnay on the Hombre, Americana and Conspiracy of One, were also successful, with Ixnay on the Hombre and Conspiracy of One reaching platinum certification, and Americana achieving multi-platinum status. Longtime drummer Ron Welty left The Offspring in early 2003, and was replaced by Atom Willard. Later that year, the band released their next album, Splinter, to moderate sales and fairly warm reviews. In 2005, The Offspring released a greatest hits album and toured in support of the compilation. Their eighth studio album, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, was released on June 17, 2008 with the hit singles "You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid" and "Hammerhead."
Days Go By is the band’s ninth studio album and is due to be released on June 26, 2012. The Days Go By Songfacts reports that the title track was released as the first single and was premiered on KROQ on April 27, 2012.
2. Offspring was a short-lived English pop duo of the early 1970s, consisting of Mike Brayn and John Howard, who met at Hurstpierpoint College in Sussex, United Kingdom. They released just one single, 'Windfall' (1972). Their planned studio album was never completed.

The Offspring Lyrics
I am the one
Camouflage and guns
Risk my life
To keep my people from harm
Authority
Vested in me
I sacrifice
With my brothers in arms
Trough this doorway
What's on the other side
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go!
Come on do it!
Here we go
[Chorus: x2]
Take a life
That others may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
It's playing over and over in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows
Stay the course
Reasonable force
I believe I serve a greater good
Smoke and dust
Enemies are crushed
Nothing left
Where a man once stood
Trough this doorway
What's on the other side
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go
But I'm just doing what I'm told
[Chorus: x2]
Bang bang it hammers in my head
Bang bang it hammers in my head
Bang bang it hammers in my head
In my head
In my head
Yeah though I walk to the through the valley of the
Shadow of death , I will fear no evil:
For Thou art with me
Locked and loaded
Gonna find my truth
Now I'm busting trough
All hell breaks loose
And you can all hide behind your desks now
And you can cry 'teacher come help me!'
Through you all
My aim is true

The song is about a school shooter who believes he is a soldier doing this for the greater good. There are several clues about his military delusion through out this video.
Dogs are ticking time bombs
Birds are stealth bombers
The Teacher and Students are news reporters and figure wearing a dunce hat
The school is burning at the 2:40 mark
The little girl could be a police officer
The ball the little kids are tossing is a bomb
At 4:12 is a dead soldier. This could imply the police found the shooter and killed him
At the end of the video are elephants, camels, and bears carrying bombs. This is people carrying the victims of the shooting . The bombs are the coffins
And finally is the military general. Which is a personification of his military delusion.
This is all I can find.

Can someone explain to me what the hell happened in the music vid?
What I see: Jets that are like birds that eat money for bread crumbs who are fed by Voldemort with a nose.
Later: A general who is in LSD in a car dump where soldiers throw themselves for no apparent reason. Not mentioning the babies in the middle of a jungle who are fed by a soldier and then put outside down surrounded by oil stations.
More Later: Why the hell there are kids playing with a nuke?!?! Are they trying to go hardcore? And what's with the robodogs? Is it a way to say that pit bulls are time bombs?
Seen multiple times: Why there's an elephant in USA ARMY uniform and a pig in a Tuxedo? Also, there's some pig around that is drinking petroleum or oil (whatever the black thing is).
Basically the end: The day animals got human-level intelligence is the day they carry nuclear weapons... because, they are terrorist...?
Is this another non-sponsored capitalism is a messed-up thing?

It's about the war and how the poor americans citizens are a sacrifice for money but in the end that's what they want.
