Along the tour, live audio was recorded at select stops and has now been compiled into Anthology, which will be released on Staple Records/Workhorse Music Group in October. The live recording will be available digitally, on two CDs, and as a limited edition box set containing four LP’s. The CD and LP packages will contain booklets featuring extensive live photos from the tour as well.
A must-have item for collectors, MTV noted in their show review that, “the group covered their vast catalog with a lengthy set list, which was created using fan’s votes on the band’s website, that left the mourning crowd wanting more,” while the band’s hometown daily paper, the O.C. Register added, “…an epic performance culled from all points in their catalog that will loom large in their legend — and their career in general, which had reached personal-best peaks with the last two albums, 2009’s turning point Beggars and its tension-filled follow-up Major/Minor, from last September.”

But you don't care, you don't care
And bruises are but shadows of the blackness
That you breathe but you don't care, you don't care
The light that's left inside their eyes is darkened
Day by day but you don't care, you don't care
The presence pulls the color from the world til all is gray
But you don't care, you don't, you don't, you don't
You're less than half a man, yellow belly and crimson hands
You will one day reap your reckoning, maybe then you'll understand
Your hands are made to comfort but they only conjure fear
But you don't care, you don't care
She's in the closet praying Lord please get me out of here
You don't care, you don't you don't you don't
You're less than half a man, yellow belly and crimson hands
You will one day reap your reckoning, maybe then you'll understand
What mercy have they known, from you, from you
To ask that I be shown, to you, to you
To ask that I be shown, to you, to you
In Thrice's Yellow Belly, the lyrics describe a person who was built to bring blessings, but instead only causes harm to those around them. The vocals suggest that this individual does not care about the bruises they leave behind or the darkness they bring upon others. The light that once shone within the eyes of others slowly fades away each day in their presence, leaving the world gray and empty. Despite these actions, the individual is portrayed as remorseless.
The chorus implies that this character is weak and cowardly, labelled as "yellow belly" with hands stained with guilt. The lyrics convey a sense of impending punishment, as the character is informed that they will one day face "reckoning". The song also depicts a character praying for salvation, begging to be released from harm's way.
In summary, Thrice's Yellow Belly is a song that conveys a strong meaning behind its lyrics. It portrays a message of caution, warning listeners of the destructive nature of some individuals around them. The song delivers a powerful message on the importance of treating those around us with kindness and preventing negative influence on those who depend on us for guidance and support.
