Baby I'm a Star
Tina Turner Lyrics

I've seen the way that you look at him
When you think I'm not around
And I've seen you try to catch his eyes
And you think you're gainin' ground
You know last night he told me
Everything that you said
You asked him if he gets lonely
Well then get this through your head

Keep Your Hands Off My Baby
Keep Your Hands Off My Baby
Don't you know you better give it up
Give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up
Don't you know you better stop, better stop
Leave my baby alone

I've seen the way that you brushed back your hair
I've heard your baby-talk
I know just what you're thinkin' there
Ooo, I'm watchin' what you want
You know it took a lot of patience
To win my baby's love
Now you're tryin' my patience
If you push, I'm gonna shove

Keep Your Hands Off My Baby
Keep Your Hands Off My Baby
Don't you know you better give it up
Give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up
Don't you know you better stop, better stop
Leave my baby alone (yeah)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...

I've seen the way that you look at him
When you think I'm not around
I've seen you try to catch his eyes
And you think you're gainin' ground
You know last night he told me
Everything that you said
You asked him if he gets lonely
Well get this through your head

Keep Your Hands Off My...
Keep Your Hands Off My Baby
Keep Your Hands Off My Baby
Don't you know you better give it up
Give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up
Don't you know you better stop, better stop
Leave my baby...

@Kathy Moulton Lady, are you really frustrated about what I wrote ? Why is that?
I wasn't even that critical about Tina. I even started with "Tina is great. I like just about every she did".

If I'm correct, Tina's version of BABY I'M A STAR is been produced by Ollie Marland. As for me, the blame is on him. Tina's vocals are still great on this song. But the production is just terrible, the drum beat is just horrible. He squeezed all the funk out of the song. The only thing is okay is Tina's vocals. The production could have been saved if the producer was be able to add some rock elements to the song. The song as it self, written by Prince, is amazing. Prince performed the song many times live and he added rock elements to the song in these performances too.

Just imagine if Prince him self produced this song for Tina instead of Ollie Marland !

You give the impression that you can't stand it when people give their own opinion "...who cares what you like anyway". That's just a little strange after you saying in special English "She. Did I great like she does all her songs".

Anyway, I wish you all the best. Hopefully you can be less frustrated about opinions from others. We don't have to agree with everyone we just have to live on the same planet. So relax and have a nice day.

This song was originally written for me, but I asked Tina to sing it for me. I was busy posing for the masses.
