Semáforo
by Vanguart

Hoje é terça-feira
O céu borrou a cor
Ó minha mão do céu
Ó meu pé do chão
Ó minha mão do céu
Ó meu pé do chão
Eu não ouço vocês
Eu não ouço vocês (mais alto)
Eu não creio em vocês

Só acredito no semáforo
Só acredito no avião
Eu acredito no relógio
Só acredito
Eu só acredito

Hoje é terça-feira
E o céu se põe debaixo do tapete
Um tesouro
Eu não acredito, eu não acredito, eu não acredito, eu não acredito não

Só acredito no semáforo
Só acredito no avião
Eu acredito no relógio
Acredito no coração

Não, não, não

Hoje é terça-feira
Hoje é terça-feira
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos seus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Voam...voam...uuuuhhh...voam

Com olhos de anis
Com asas de fogo
E meus olhos cheios
De mágoa então

Hoje é terça-feira
Hoje é terça-feira

Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos seus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Todos meus amigos
Querem morrer..uuuuuuhhh
Querem morrer uuuuuuhhh.

@Matheus Quemel  And this is just 0.00001% of the story. I have friends who are evangelic, but just few, unfortunately the most of all people  met were fanatic and they didn't listen to music besides gospel music, they could not cut their hair LOL and other WTF things like that

Matheus Quemel

@araci jara woooow, thats a great story... I hope you not hate the all the evangelic people in the world... Ok. They are  crazy and fanatics... But not all than :3

 Now let's travel to Brazil.

In 2010, as I told you before, I lived in Brazil for about 5 months. I was living in one of the hottest cities in Brazil and in the all world. Cuiabá, in the Mato Grosso Federal State. You know, all those landscapes with cows, wild nature, cotton and coffee , it's there. I studied in the Federal University of this state. I was only 19 years old when I travelled all alone to Brazil. Sometimes I can't even think that was real, it seems now, 5 years later, just a strange dream. In the last month, July of 2010, I used to go to a bar called Casa Fora do Eixo. In one of the nights me and some friends went to the show of a band called Vanguart, a band from Cuiaba. Back then they were not so famous ( not huge as they are now!), so I went in a night to watch them doing a Beatle's Cover, and the next night to see their show with original songs from them. The most famous song they played that night, at least the one that got me hooked was with no doubt this one. So the song is a critic, a very severe one, to the crazy evangelic priests and to the cult itself. This song was really special for me, because for 2 months near the Rain Forest and with almost 50ºdegrees Celsius inside of a small flat, I had to live with an evangelic family from the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, and I remember one afternoon I was wearing shorts inside the flat ( it was freaking hot there, like 50 degrees inside of the flat) and a woman told me that wearing that kind of clothes was a sin and she could not stand to have  a person inside of her house wearing those kind of clothes! Yes, that was true, in 2010! I was, for the first time, experience a new different kind of travel, the time travel, I felt I was traveling to the middle Ages or something similar. I also had to go to the cults with them, and if at the first time I was disturbed with that, at the end it was good, because I saw the experience as a study of the freaky minds there are in this world. I even remember seeing a big poster outside of the church with the world map saying “ there are still x continents, x countries, and x people to evangelize”, if there was a man in the corner with a strange moustache raising his arm I would be scared . Once I said “ I have no religion” and I felt they were looking at me like “ oh poor girl, you are going to burn in hell!”.
Anyway, my experiences with this fanatic people were some ok, others were a pain in the ass, they lead me even to seriously not stand any religious talk at all, because it started to be really irritating to me. So this song, in that night, in my last month in that country, summed up all my bad experience with these fanatic people, saying “ Eu não ouço vocês, eu não creio em vocês ( I don’t listen to you, I don’t believe in you ) Só acredito no semaforo ( I just believe in the traffic light) , só acredito no avião ( I just believe in the plane) eu acredito no relogio, acredito no coração ( I just believe in the watch, just believe in the heart)” . The images from the videoclip are something, you can see the figure of the crazy priest running away.
Anyway, Vanguart is now a huge band in Brasil and I still can’t believe that 5 years ago I was there, in a small bar near the Rain Forest watching their show!
