MC Tasty and DJ Pooh are real people and have been almost their entirely of lives.
The Velvet Paw of Asquith novels, are mystery/adventure books by Thomas Corfield, and follow the adventures of Oscar Teabag-Dooven, who's trained as a mercenary while remaining convinced he is little more than a poet. Can Oscar triumph against villain’s and thwart their garish plans when he can do little more than rhyme one lot of words with another?
Some comments from readers:
“What was Corfield thinking? Not much presumably.”
“It reminded me of another book which, as I recall, was far better.”
“I liked the words particularly. They way they were strung together helped too.”
“Good writing can only take you so far. The Dooven books not only take you considerably further, they also leave you behind.”
“As revolutionary as 19th century Paris. But not nearly as French.”
“I can only describe them as utterly indescribable.”
