Best known for their collaborations with Prince in the early-mid 1980s, Melvoin and Coleman began their career as a duo in 1986.
The duo scored the music for the NBC programme “Heroes” from its 2006 première to its 2011 cancellation. The have also scored the television programmes “Virtuality” and “Nurse Jackie”.
They have released six albums, with the most recent release being Heroes: Original Score, released in April 2009. Before that "White Flags of Winter Chimneys" was the latest regular album released in December 2008.
