I Can't Quit You Baby
Willie Dixon Lyrics

Well, I can't quit you, baby
But I got to put you down a little while
Well, I can't quit you, darlin'
But I got to put you down a little while
Well, you done made me mess up my happy home
Made me mistreat my only child

Ah, when you hear me moanin' and groanin'
Whoa, you know it hurts way down inside
Whoa, when you hear me moanin' and groanin'
You know it hurts way down inside
Oh when you hear me howlin'
Oh when you hear me holler you know my love will never die
Alright then

Well, when you see me cryin', baby
Don't let my tears fall in vain
Well, when you see me cryin, darlin'
Please don't let my tears fall in vain
Lord, I don't know what to do
You know my heart is filled with pain
Alright

Oh when you hear me hollerin', baby
You know it hurts way down inside

Bueno, no puedo dejarte nena,
pero tengo que dejarte un momento
Bueno, no puedo dejarte nena,
pero tengo que dejarte un momento
Lo que me hiciste,
me hizo estropear mi hogar feliz,
me hizo maltratar a mi único hijo.

Señor, no sé qué hacer,
sabes que mi corazón esta lleno de dolor.

(Armónica y instrumental)

Whoa, cuando me escuchas aullar, nena,
sabes que duele mucho por dentro.

"The blues is the roots, everything else is the fruits" (Willie Dixon)

@Marco Evans The harmonic minor, melodic minor, minor and major scales came from West Africa? I did think they developed thanks to the monks from the middle age, from the gregorian chant and shit, you know? lol

I never heard Bach using pentatonic scales in his music, but then I never heard all of his works...

@ElKulichi777 The idea, surely, was in his lifetime, it was "the roots." Clearly, two people hitting sticks together 88 thousand years ago predates. Regardless, it's a cool quote.

This drummer here...is absolutely unbelievable. Hear the hi hat work? Also hear how his snare drum hits are planted right at the very last millisecond at the very end of each measure. It’s enough to make any bassist with a half of a brain go completely over the moon with joy. Bonham knew EXACTLY how to play like this....and this is the very reason LZ 1 sounded the way it did. How did John get this good by age 20? Fully formed he was...at this formative age. It’s nothing less than astounding.

This guy wrote more hits then any other Blues/Rock & Roll writer ever has

@chris cardenas nobody comments like this anymore before because nobody really cares but you got the facts!!! I got a lawsuit going in the United States right now!!! Because I invented the peanut butter and jelly sandwich... I'm suing everybody for the past 75 years that ever ate one... all I want is $0.01 / cent per sandwhich...

Read buddy guys book. Willie didn't write nearly as many songs as he credited himself for. A lot of the blues men in those days were simply ignorant of how the system worked and guys like willie took full advantage. Not saying he wasn't a great artist though.
