中村正人 (Masato Nakamura), born October 1, 1958, Japan, is a Japanese musician who is a bassist of the band DREAMS COME TRUE.
He composed the music of the first two Sonic the Hedgehog games for the Sega Mega Drive. 初代ソニックが1991年6月下旬に米国にて発売 marry meは1997年10月下旬に 開発時期的に1990年から1991年春ごろまでにソニックの方を作曲しているけど5年くらいたってどういう曲か忘れたんかなぁ

Marry Me発売よりもずっと後のインタビューで中村さんは「ソニックのお気に入りの曲は？」という質問に「僕ね、全部好きなんです（笑）。でも強いて挙げるなら、やっぱりグリーンヒルの曲や、ソニックのテーマですね。」と答えているので、おそらくわざと同じネタをリメイクしたのではないかな？と思います。
