At age 17, she appeared on the TV audition show Star Tanjou!! but didn't win. After high school graduated, Noda went to Konan Joshi Daigaku but left before she graduated. However, in 1987, she made her music debut with the single "Taiyou Kamisama Shounen" under the label CBS Sony. During her debut, Noda was known as the "velvet voice".
In 1996, Noda switched labels and went to BMG Victor. Some time later, she switched labels and went to an indies label. During the same time, she went to school to be licensed as a sommelier. After getting her license, has appeared on various TV shows, radio shows, and attended various college lectures, talking about wine.
