Ga-In (Hangeul: 가인, Real Name: Son Ga-In, 손가인), born on September 20, 1987,… Read Full Bio ↴Ga-In (Hangeul: 가인, Real Name: Son Ga-In, 손가인), born on September 20, 1987, is a member of the South Korean girl group Brown Eyed Girls that debuted in 2006, the joint group 4tomorrow, and the collaborative duo Ga In & Jo Kwon which features 2AM's Jo Kwon.
She made her solo debut in October 2010 in which she took a different approach with her music and image than her fellow bandmate, Narsha: specifically, her music incorporated tango nuevo, Latin, and jazz elements. Out of the four Brown Eyed Girls' members, she was the second one to have a solo career.
2010: Solo Debut
She released here debut album, Step 2/4 in October 2010, the title track of this album was "Irreversible". On December 21, 2010 a digital single called, Bad Temper was released and it contained the song "Bad Temper".
2012: Talk About S
Ga-in was featured on a cover of Yoon Il-sang's song "For You Not To Know" for the singer Yoon Il-sang's 21st anniversary album Yoon Il-sang 21st Anniversary Album: I'm 21. In April 2012, she sung a duet song with JY Park (JYP, Park Jinyoung) called "Someone Else". The duet song highest ranking was number 2 on the Gaon Weekly Singles chart.
Ga-In's second EP Talk About S was released on October 5, 2012. With the title track being "Bloom", compared to her debut title track, "Irreversible", "Bloom" had a more brighter sound. The physical album had 4 more other tracks while the digital album included a track that featured Shinhwa member Eric Mun called "Nostalgia (feat. Eric Mun)".
2013: Romantic Spring and "Gentleman"
Ga-in collaborated with singer Cho Hyung-woo to make the EP Romantic Spring, the EP was released on April 8, 2012. Later that month, on April 13, 2013 Ga-in was in PSY's music video for his song "Gentleman". Within the video she did one of Brown Eyed Girls' famous dances, "the arrogant dance" which was in their song "Abracadabra".
On October 8, 2013, was the day IU's album Modern Times was released which featured Ga-In as a guest singer for the track "Everybody Has Secrets (feat.가인)" (누구나 비밀은 있다).
2014: Truth or Dare
Her EP Truth or Dare was released on February 6, 2014. The EP contained the title track "Truth or Dare". It also contained the song, "Fxxk U (feat. Bumkey)" which had a theme about domestic violence.
Later in the year, she appeared in KARA's Goo Hara's reality show Hara ON & OFF as her friend.
2015 - 2016: Hawwah and End Again
Ga-In's fourth EP with a Bible influenced concept, Hawwah was released on March 12, 2015. "Paradise Lost" and "Apple (feat. Jay Park)" were the lead singles. The song "Paradise Lost" was inspired by John Milton's epic poem of the same name.
Ga-In released her first full album, End AgainOn September 8, 2016. The lead single of the album was "Carnival (The Last Day)".
