Over the years they have built a following by being supporting acts at shows like Locobazooka with Hatebreed, the Fitchburg Civic Center with Spineshank and 40 Below Summer and opening up club tours for national acts such as Atreyu, Full Blown Chaos, Scars of Tomorrow, Silent Civilian, E-town Concrete, Ill Nino, Disturbed, Nonpoint, Flaw, Blindside, Spineshank, 40 Below Summer, Skrape, Powerman 5k and more. The band has also shared the stage with Boston’s and northeast top local bands.
2007 was a big year for the band. They co-headlined Avalon in Boston, MA during the summer of 2007 with 1500 in attendance. This was a major accomplishment for the band.
In September of 2007, Breathe released their first notable EP titled, “Follow the Silence”. They held their CD release party at Axis in Boston to 850 people. After the release of the EP, the band continued to perform well into the new year all over the state. Their EP was also heard on local rock radio stations, 104.1 WBCN and 107.3 WAAF.
Keeping the momentum going, Breathe co-headlined the well known rock club, The Paradise (Boston, MA), to a sold out crowd in January. Since then, they have been promoting themselves, and playing shows in the Northeast.
In early 2008, the four piece line up shifted by parting ways with their drummer and bassist. Since then two new members have been added, Stephanie Curran (ex Screams of Erida) on guitar and Mark Avery (ex Thru the Walls) on bass. The band is currently working with a new drummer while playing some local shows in the area.
Breathe will be taking some time off in the fall to work on some new material.
