Oblivion

Scramble, clamber to unearth your claim
Don't make it a loss this time you're going to butt in
You're going to find your competitive side
Walking into a disposition that you never thought would fit
You won't pray yourself into Oblivion
You won't be scared sacred becoming a minion
You can't help but crave
Desire eventually will have you wanting the right thing
You may seem a bit naïve, but you need to discover where the line is
So that you know where to cross it and walk beyond that silver streak
You won't pray yourself into Oblivion
You won't be scared sacred becoming a minion
Your house of cards can't always be sheltered from every
Bump or breeze - keep it out of
Devastations sight god forbid I'd want to play with it
You won't pray yourself into Oblivion
You won't be scared sacred becoming a minion
The lyrics of 5th Projekt's song Oblivion are about the struggle to find one's place in the competitive world and the fear of falling behind or becoming insignificant. The song encourages the listener to embrace their competitive side and to pursue their desires while being mindful of the consequences of their actions. The lines "walking into a disposition that you never thought would fit" and "you may seem a bit naïve, but you need to discover where the line is" suggest that the journey towards success can be unpredictable and requires taking risks.
The repetition of the phrase "you won't pray yourself into Oblivion" throughout the song emphasizes the importance of taking action instead of waiting for things to happen. The lyrics suggest that being passive or complacent can lead to being forgotten or overlooked, and that success requires effort and determination. The line "your house of cards can't always be sheltered from every bump or breeze" is a metaphor for the fragility of one's dreams and ambitions, and the need to protect them from unexpected obstacles.
Overall, the song Oblivion is a powerful message about the importance of taking control of one's life, pursuing their goals with a competitive spirit, and being mindful of the risks and consequences along the way.
