The band comprised Al Davies on guitar, Bob Wilkinson on bass, Viv Lewis on drums and vocals, Roger March on trumpet, valve trombone and vocals, and Art Boxall on tenor sax, baritone sax and flute.
The band recorded the song 'Higher and Higher’ at Swansea Recording Studios together with a collection of other numbers, both vocal and instrumental, many of which were played regularly by Swansea Sound Radio. The song ‘Higher and Higher’ was recorded onto vinyl by Wren Records (WSP 2022); ‘Higher and Higher’ being the ‘A’ side and the instrumental ‘Jerusalem’ on the ‘B’ side. Confusingly Finders Keepers Records have released the instrumental track ‘Jerusalem’ on their Welsh Rare Beats 2 album listed incorrectly as ‘Higher and Higher’.
