Martin Primrose and Warden Waylon Brite, as the fractured version of the once promising and lively Amir Coyle.
Coyle's signature vocal style is that of a vibrato heavy balladry croon which seamlessly shifts between high and low registers frequently, almost to suggest his alter-ego's are more so split personalities chiming in when their voice is needed. His compositions are typically created by using the voice to achieve most sounds, often times imitating string and horn arrangements as well strong vocal percussion. His overall sound is a mixture of experimental pop aligned with influence from choral orchestrations, rockabilly and free jazz.
Coyle began taking performing seriously four years ago as a reaction to his mother's battle with terminal cancer escalating and the realization of the scarcity of time. Once revered as a "Raphaelic Elvis," Coyle's bravado as a stage performer is just as vulnerable and sweet as he is intense and terrifying. In one article Amir has been described as "walking the tightrope... in one hand he carries flowers, in the other - a dagger."
He has released a few 7" and 12" records and is currently working on his long-awaited debut "La Finale." (Listen to "Dying Swan" co-produced by Dylan Reznick of Friendzone) On "La Finale" contributions of members from bands Common Eider King Eider, Roaring Camp and more take place.
