The possibility of a musical career never entered his mind until he saw a movie about what he considered the greatest band of the sixties, The Temptations.
While in ninth grade, Ar4i met his first mentor, then an instructor for beginning singers at The Theater of Lesi Ukrainki, who helped him along with three girls, form the band which became known as Karlin. Under the guidance of their mentor, Karlin was directed towards pop musical styles. Ar4i later discovered his leanings towards soul & R&B. A year later, Ar4i was introduced to Juriy Rominskiy, of the European band Men Sound, whom Ar4i considers the best soul singer in Odessa, and who later became his mentor.
In 2003, Ar4i entered the National Academy of Law in Odessa, but transferred to The University of Buckingham in United Kingdom to take up International Studies instead. While his father hopes him to be a good lawyer, Ar4i wanted to pursue his musical career.
In 2007, Ar4i met a fellow artist from Odessa, the rapper, Geegun. Together, they recorded what became Ar4i's debut single, "Tolko Tebe". The single was a remarkable success, introducing Ar4i to Ukraine, as well as Germany. Later, Ar4i met J`Ro and Seba G of NavSegda Production, Germany. A concept for an album was created and soon Ar4i was recording the single "Eto pro ljubov", as well as the follow-up "Esli ljubish", which featured Geegun. Both singles gained considerable popularity. The track "Ti i ya" which featured vocals from Eliz was produced a year later.
In 2009, the above singles, along with 22 other tracks were included in the Ar4i's debut album Trackpack, which also featured collaborations with SW Massive, Sahlim Quick, among others.

AR4I Lyrics
В Моих Руках Знаешь, я так долго искал тебя, в сердце надежду храня. Мимо…
Как тебя зовут? Я забежал в кафе, и среди людей увидал тебя, Или это…
