The band was on both the 2005 and 2006 Vans Warped Tours (often on the smaller Ernie Ball Stage). They were also at the 2006 annual music festival held in the Phoenix area, "Edgefest".
The original album "An Offer You Can't Refuse" was composed of all band members except Dan Parker who was added to the line-up. A Change Of Pace also goes by the acronym "ACOP".
On June 1st, 2008, the band revealed on their MySpace blog how original singer, Torry Jasper would be replaced by their good friend Micah Bentley. The change brought about a new sound, as well as a new EP entitled "Just No Better Way." The news comes merely weeks before A Change of Pace heads out on their summer tour.
After delays, the band put forth their final LP in February 22, 2011, entitled "Couldn't Be Worse". It incorporated both of their older and newer sounds. Shortly thereafter, on March 13, it was announced on their Facebook page that after 10 years, they would disband, but not before playing a farewell show on April 22 at The Clubhouse in Tempe, Arizona.
A Change of Pace mixed their own brand of metal, punk and emo.
The band members as of 2011:
Micah Bentley: Vocals
Jonathan Kelly: Drums
Johnny Abdullah: Bass, vocals
Adam Rodgers: Lead guitar
Dan Parker: Guitar

A Change of Pace Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning | Line by Line Meaning
All those late nights walkin' through front doors at daybreak
Raise all of the glasses high
This one's to all of us sittin' around here on Friday night
I remember eighteen hated Mondays
And sittin' and starin' at the clock dyin' to get away
Don't look back and have no regrets
We only got two days and time won't wait for us
I couldn't ask for a better place to be
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than this
I've been to hell and back
All the snow storms
And the bathroom stalls
Which you pulled me out of
I'll be there
Like you've been there
My word's my bond
Don't stand alone, you can count on me
I couldn't ask for a better place to be
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than this
We fight this fight to stay free
And never say, never
If you leave this choice up to me
I'll stay young forever
(Stay young)
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than
This can't last forever
Raise a glass together
Doesn't get much better
No better than this
