1) Adam Wade (born Patrick Henry Wade in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on 17 March 1935; died 8 July 2022) was an American singer, musician and actor. Popular in the early 1960s with vocal styling similar to that of Johnny Mathis, in 1961 three of Wade's songs ("Take Good Care of Her", "As If I Didn't Know", and "The Writing on the Wall") made the Top Ten in Billboard's Top 100.
2) Adam Wade (born in Washington, D.C., on 3 July 1968) is an American drummer. He was a member of Jawbox, Shudder To Think, Sweet 75 and The Jealous Sound.
Wade was the first African-American to host a television game show ( Musical Chairs) in 1975. He starred in the production Guys and Dolls in 1978 and hosted the talk show Mid-Morning LA.
Wade briefly returned to recording in the mid-1970s, producing a self–titled album on the Kirschner record label, which was distributed by Columbia Records. This was a venture into a more soulful singing genre.
