Inspired by his father, a political jazz musician, he represents every young man who has ever been the underdog and rose to the occasion. His distinctive sandpaper-like flow carries the grit & soul of a man becoming his own. He does not rely on outer "bling" to define him as a person, but yet instead he looks inward, embracing life as it truly is: gritty, beautiful, flawed, fulfilling, and most importantly, worth living. His music has a matchless mixture of the highs and lows of life experiences combined with a variety of R&B, pop, and hip-hop styles, something he likes to call “Reality Soul Music.”
With his rare mix of raw talent and polished delivery, Adassi appeals to 9 to 5 hustlers, street grinders, and everything in between. His genuine demeanor and versatile swagger earned him the notoriety of being one of South Florida's most promising up-and coming artists. His drive & determination led to the formation of his own record label, Bomb On Em Records, LLC. Recognizing his talent, famed Super Producer DJ Khaled & other elite artists contributed to a series of his mixtapes, creating a buzz throughout South Florida. He was profiled in (June 2007) Nine5Four Magazine, a publication geared to highlighting the area’s most promising unsigned hype. Adassi has opened up for Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Rick Ross, and T.I. to name a few while touring around the country to places like Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Los Angeles and New York. “I’ve been blessed so much already and the crazy thing is it’s just the beginning. Next time I’m at the BET or Hip Hop Awards, I won’t be in the audience but performing instead. THIS IS MY YEAR!”
His philosophy is a testament to the meaning of his Nigerian name Adassi: through it all, he still shines. It’s a guarantee he can no longer be denied; his presence alone demands and commands attention. With his unstoppable drive he’s not taking no for an answer, on the contrary he’s stirring up the very heart and soul of the rap game. Now from the awaited mixtape, Still A Problem 2.5, his new single "Stackin Dat Paper" features YMCMB’S Veronica V and is here to rightfully place him amongst the most elite. With plans to have the summer on smash, you can definitely expect Adassi to be the next biggest thing not only in Florida, but worldwide as well and it doesn’t stop there. “As a young entrepreneur I’ve always respected labels like Cash Money for their longevity and impact in the entertainment industry. I want to have a my own powerhouse record label where I can help other upcoming artists have a voice and be heard.” Make sure to follow Adassi on Twitter @adassiboe and like the Facebook Fan Page: Adassi (B.O.E Records) for more info, bookings, and upcoming dates.
