Fondly known as Aina Mentor, the title derived from the national prime reality television singing competition Mentor Legend which she got selected to participate in 2014. She came into the limelight after becoming the first runner-up of the show under the apprenticeship of Malaysia’s Queen of Rock, Ella. In the same year, she later surprised Malaysia and the world as she rose to win the Senior Grand Vocalist Champion’s title in the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Aina has also made a special appearance in one of Malaysia’s famous reality shows’ Akademi Fantasia where she was requested to share her vocal knowledge and techniques to the contestants. She has performed at numerous events and even in the presence of Yang Di-Pertuan Negeri Sembilan, the King of the Malaysian state. Since then, Aina has actively been writing and composing her own material which she performs publicly at some of KL’s best live music venues. She enjoys performing and uses it as a medium to create her own kind of music for her fans . She believes in originality and that creating her own sound would inspire listeners with her story. Modern R&B and soul are her favourite genre’s and she cites Chrisette Michele, Ledisi, Yuna, Jhene Aiko as well as Tegan and Sara as sources of inspiration.
