1)Alix (Alix Bauer) is a singer/songwriter from Mexico City. She is an ex-member of Mexican pop band Timbiriche. She recorded a solo album in the early 90s. Currently she is partaking in Timbiriche's 25th Anniversary Tour.
2) A eurobeat artist that has released the track "Maximisin' " (Super Eurobeat vol.215) and "Hello Kitty" (Super Eurobeat vol.218).
3) Alix a psychedelic groove rock band from Italy.
ALIX was formed by lead vocalist Alice Albertazzi in Bologna in 1995.
Following some changes in line-up the group now composes Gianfranco Romanelli on bass and slide guitar, Pippo de Palma on electric guitar and Andrea Insulla on drums, each bringing their diverse musical experience to the project to mix with a common love of 70's rock music.
It is through live performance that they best express the deep emotions inherent in their music, mixing a deep and soulful voice with their fiercely individual interpretation of Stoner Rock.
ALIX stand out in their powerful and prolific live performance as exemplified by the numerous glowing reviews of their packed out italian and european reviews of their packed out italian and european gigs.
Each of their 3 albums has been received with great interest. Their debut "ALIX" in 1997, and "CUORE IN BOCCA" in 1999 were both independently produced while "NESSUN BRIVIDO" was co-produced with indie label EDGAR of Bolzano in 2001.
The last album, premiered at M.E.I. in November 2001, drew stunning reviews as exemplified by the response of webzine www.stonerrock.com
The lost of their appearances includes the main stage at AREZZO WAVE in 1995 playing along side hiphop merchants "THE ROOTS".
Following their success at ROCK REVOLUTION 2000, ALIX were included in the line-up for the HEINEKEN JAMMIN' FESTIVAL that same year, sharing the stage with MUSE, GUANO APES, PRIMAL SCREAM and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE.
Their extended European tour "Rock to Hell-Live on Fire" in 2003 with scandinavian outfits PAWNSHOP (NR) and DOZER (SV) earned them the title of the "Italian Psychedelic Groove Rock Band".
Even in 2003, they play in Italy with SUN DIAL, the historic psychedelic band from London and in Luzern (CH) like support of "THE HIDDEN HAND" (U.S.), the new band of Scott "Wino" Weinrich (St.Vitus, The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan,Probot).Third with the PLACE OF SKULLS the new project of Victor Griffin (Pentagram), the fourt with "DEBRIS INC.", the last with "VIC DU MONTE PERSONA NON GRATA"in the italian gigs. On the strength of 'Ground', it won't be long before Alice Albertazzi earns herself another title; that of the Queen of Stoner Rock!

If you love psychedelia and rock’n’roll, but above all if you want to listen to a stupendous female voice (a mixture of Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, PJ Harvey, Chrissie Hynde, and a female version of Robert Plant) then Alix is your band. Imagine a dinner party with 2/4 of the first edition of Fu Manchu, John Garcia in his historical guise of Unida and the odd waiter here and there provided by Spirit Caravan and Masters of Reality. Four albums to date: Alix (1997), Cuore in Bocca (1999), Nessun Brivido (2001), Ground (2004), which have made them famous in the stoner circuits of half of Europe. In 2000 the group shared the stage of the Heineken Jammin’ Festival in Imola with Muse, Guano Apes, Primal Scream and Rage Against the Machine, as winners of the first edition of RockrEvolution. In 2003, the European tour with the Norwegian group Pawnshop and the Swedish group Dozer earned Alix the title of “Italian Psychedelic Groove Rock Band”. The year 2004 saw them on tour again in Europe, this time with the American group The Hidden Hand, the new band of Scott “Wino” Weinrich (famous for his participation in Dave Grohl’s Probot project). An exceptional review of the album Ground came from the English magazine Kerrang! which awarded the band with a (KKKK). In 2005/2006 the group performed live in various tours both in Italy and abroad. A new album to be recorded in February 2008 will be mixed by Steve Albini, producer of Nirvana, Stooges, Pixies and many others. The album will be recorded at Red House Recordings in Senigallia.
