One Scotch One Bourbon One Beer
Amos Milburn Lyrics

One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
Please mister bartender, listen here
I ain't here for trouble, so have no fear
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer

I don't want soda nor bubble gum
You got what I want, just serve me some
Since my baby's been gone, everything is lost
I'm on this kick and I can't get off

One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
Please mister bartender, listen here
I ain't here for trouble, so have no fear
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer

My woman started me on this spree
I can't find her and she can't find me
She left this morning, said she wouldn't stay
She's been out all night and it's the break of day

One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
Please mister bartender, listen here
I ain't here for trouble, so have no fear
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer

One more nip and make it strong
I got to find my baby and drive her home [if it takes all night long]
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer
One scotch, one bourbon, one beer

Great tune! Thanks for posting. I think John Lee Hooker's version is my favorite but George Thorogood does a good version also where he combines it with another John Lee Hooker song. This version definitely rocks though :)

My Dad had this song on an old TDK tape (back when the tape casings were gray). I haven't heard this song since I was a kid,and yes I was a blues lover even then!!!

I’ve been watching reaction videos to “one bourbon, one scotch, one beer” and just had to find a version closer to how I remember it - was there a 70’s cover? lol - I remember singing this!
